BORNEO CLASSIC TRAVEL & TOUR SDN BHD ONLINE SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
RESPONSIBILITY: Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd operator of the tour on which you are booked, act only as agent for the airlines, transportation companies, hotel owners or contractors and other principals, and all tickets, exchange orders, vouchers and documents are issued subject to the conditions under which such transportation, accommodation and other contractors operate. By the acceptance of any documentation, the purchaser and/or tour member agrees that neither Borneo Classic Travel & Tour, its employees or associated companies/agents shall be or become responsible for any injury, damage, accident, loss, delay or irregularity that may be caused to a person or property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or any other service included in your tour. This will also apply for any reason resulting directly or indirectly from Acts of God, dangers incidental to the sea or terrain, machinery breakdown, hostilities, riots, strikes, civil commotion, thefts, sickness, evacuation, quarantine, immigration, medical or customs regulations, improper or insufficient passports or other documentation or cancellations in itinerary or schedules or from any cause beyond the control of Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, its employees or associated companies/agents. Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, its employees or associates shall not be or become liable for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by a tour member as a result of any of the foregoing. Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, its employees or associated companies/agents reserve the right to alter or modify itineraries, accommodation and transportation in any way necessary in the interest of tour members or due to circumstances beyond their control. Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, its employees or associated companies/agents do not accept any liability for failure on the part of transportation companies whose responsibility is confined to their own operations. Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd reserves the right to cancel or withdraw at any time, bookings made by or for the client, in which event no liability whatsoever shall be attributed to Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd, its employees or associated companies/agents and furthermore while taking every care with passenger's property, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience in the handling thereof. The transportation firm or companies shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness, or injury however or whosoever caused and of whatever kind occurring of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyance used and operated by the transport companies and firms. The passage contract in use by the transportation companies shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies and firms and the purchaser of a tour and/or passengers.
BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS: A non-refundable deposit of RM500.00 is required to confirm your place on the trip. Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure, or earlier when advised at the time of booking. If booking is made less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is required immediately. Bookings made within two weeks (14 Days) of departure will incur a RM50.00 per person administration fee.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Each person requires a valid passport. Information relating to visa requirements will be advised at the time of booking as this varies according to nationality and length of stay. Your passport needs to have at least 6 months validity at time of travel.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Vaccinations are not normally, however, a course of anti-malarial tablets may be necessary, depending on your destination (particularly to areas within Sabah and Kalimantan). You should check with your local family doctor. For passengers joining adventure/trekking trips, please ensure that your tetanus vaccination is current. Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd accepts no responsibility for any diseases or infections with which you may become infected as a result of a trip to Borneo
INSURANCE: is not included in the trip cost and it is mandatory that you purchase a personal travel insurance policy to cover cancellation, sickness, accident, and evacuation, and in the case of adventure trips - search and rescue cover. Your agent will be able to suggest a suitable insurance package.
TRIP NOTES: On receipt of deposit you will be sent trip notes which provide further information on suggested clothing, equipment, visa and health requirements.
TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Air ticket, excess baggage charges, cost of passports, visa fees, laundry charges, meals not specified as being included, airport taxes, drinks, insurance premiums, telephone charges or any other personal expenses incurred by the trip participant. Trip costs include all planning and operational costs and the cost quoted represents a complete package.
CANCELLATIONS: Deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure, cancellation fee will be a minimum of 50% plus any additional charges made by operators. You are urged to take insurance cover as protection in case of inability to travel due to illness.
REFUNDS: Generally no refund will be made when a tourist changes itinerary after the trip has commenced. Any request for a refund must be received by Borneo Classic Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd in writing within 30 days after completion of the trip.
ALTERATIONS: Prices are subject to change. All rates are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and based on tariffs, and exchange rates and are subject to adjustment.
